This is the fourth piece in the Acknowledgment Collection.

 

This piece was born out of a blog entry called "Demystifying my Demons" in which I described how I visualized my emotional world. The previous piece in the collection, "No Such Thing as Demons" was a reflection of the hallways. "The Room" is about what takes place inside once the door is opened. The background (particularly the light and how it hits the walls) was my own take of Hopper's "Sun in an Empty Room", 1963.
