That means that when a piece of art catches your eye, and maybe evokes some sort of emotion, even if it’s curiosity... at that moment, that is your moment with that piece; your interpretation of what you’re seeing, your story, your intimate interaction with it. It may be so completely different from someone else’s experience, even from the artist’s interpretation. So I always like to give the viewer space to feel it before I describe what inspired me to do a piece or what a piece means to me.
