This diptych was painted simultaneously with Metanoia; the concluding piece in the Acknowledgment Collection. That painting in particular represents the merging of ourselves with our shadow in loving acceptance, journeying from the first piece in the compilation which represented a deep suppression and dissociation from it. 

This diptych was inspired by the previous collection in that the light we emit comes from fully embracing and accepting our shadow, which then leads us to the realization that we are All That Is. These two paintings represent our inevitable connection to nature as one. 

If you look closely,  there are three hidden bodies. I did this in an attempt to almost vanish our individuality and separation into what truly matters: unity. If you look even closely, both pieces are united by a peak pointing upwards that is made up of a golden thread. This symbolizes alignment with the spiritual path.
